The free starter, the newsletter, the months I spend writing the next book, the trauma-informed care that runs through everything: those need to be paid for somehow. Patron support is one way some readers prefer. There is no obligation to choose this over a tier; the tiers are how I usually expect to be paid. This is for the readers for whom the standard pricing doesn't reflect what the work has been worth to them.
